TYMOFII DONETS
In 2018 I had my first experience working as a runner-assistant on a film set of "Me, You, He, She" movie. Thanks to this experience I understood how the film team works, feeling its unity and creativity within the process.
During 2017-2019 I was taking an acting course at "Black square" school in Kyiv, improving my understanding of characters' thinking and behaving, observing, and reflecting on my emotional side and routine.
I started my general course on filmmaking at Ukrainian Film School, getting deeper in understanding dramaturgy, visuals, and the responsibilities of film team members.
I created my first videos and short-films, experimenting with different approaches, broadening my knowledge of technical aspects.
In terms of the Destination Imagination creative competition, I developed the project "Ukraine - everything possible", encouraging young Ukrainians to explore themselves and establish new ideas in Ukraine.
I graduated from Ukrainian Film School, having four short-films and different experimental works in my portfolio. Being an active participant - the main lesson I took after studying there.
I started my preparation for final exams at high school, aiming to proceed with my cultural and creative passion at university. The full-scale war began in Ukraine and I moved abroad, looking for safe environment as well as opportunities while continuing to take pictures.
I moved to Scotland, becoming a Media and Communications student at City of Glasgow college. During this time I separated from my parents, joined to Glasgow University Filmmaking Society, applied to Universities, created more projects, involving storytelling and visual.
